The comment below is from Dennis Mong, who was upset that I said the 61 Lincoln was ugly.

That Mercury is THE most butt ugly, disgusting, deplorable piece of metal on this planet.
Dennis was referring to the '61 Mercury.
And then this comment below from John Shamblin regarding the '48 Chrysler.

Beautiful photos, beautiful model of a butt-ugly car! (IMO)
Isn't it strange that when I use the word "ugly" for a car, I'm attacked by many on this forum for being harsh and insensitive? And I've even been told that I'm rude for calling a car ugly. Guess I'm held to a different standard than Dennis, John, and some others. Sad that a select few come here to constantly debate, rather than enjoy the opinions we all share about the cars we all love or hate.

Lol ! I've seen a few ugly butts..not on cars tho.. ! lmao
'Butt' all those 'ladies' are in my past..so be it.
Who was"attacking" you, George? Not me...
... I was merely expressing my opinion and you certainly don't have to agree with it.
John, I never said you attacked me. I said that when I use the term "ugly" to describe a car, I get get attacked by some on the board. I only shared your description of the Chrysler being "butt ugly", and said you got no backlash for doing so.
You're one of the good guys John, and I always enjoy your posts.
