Gotta admit it...the Sox are rapidly catching up with the Yankees...it's now 26-2.
I'll bet the Yankees are really losing sleep over this close race.

Thank you, Red Sox for making dreams come true!!! This is what baseball is all about. For the past year a close friend of mine has been fighting cancer. During this fight, my friend's 87 year old father has come out of retirement to help run his son's business. I have the priviledge of working side by side with this fine gentleman every day. Father and Son, like myself, are life long Red Sox fans. In a year when neither of them have had much to smile about, the Red Sox have brought both of them a lot of joy. Every day I hear a story about the Sox and the fun my friends are having while watching this amazing run. Together we have enjoyed every Sox win (and every Yankee loss!!LOL) Thank You, Red Sox for making an 87 year old man smile again. Watching his enjoyment has made the experience so much richer. The Red Sox are the World Champions!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! BTW the father was six months old when the Red Sox last won the series. He has promised to help all of us figure out what to do next. LOL

They won their first 5 World Series appearances.

Sox - Yankees
Would everyone be talking about the Yankees this
much if they had just won the series? I think not. Yes,
they are great team but they have won so many times
that I find them absolutely boring and Yankee fans are
not gracious loosers because the Yanks don't loose
much. BUT WHEN THEY DO!!!!!!! May thte Babe be
with you Yankee fans!

The Yankees thin it is their RIGHT to win. So do many Yankee fans.

Come on, Dan, you're not a sore looser like the Yankees, themselves, are you?
I didn't think so.

Nah, I'm a Yankee fan out of habit..I really don't pay attention until play-off time.
I couldn't even name the whole team. It's just fun going back and forth with the Sox fans because they take it so serious.
I can remember when NY had the Yankees, Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers..man, they were rabid fans. No one cared about other teams...there were enough emotions between the NY fans they could have started their own league.
