That looks great and in a wonderful Fifties color scheme !

The Big 3 all offered this color combo back in the day; it was very popular.

Still one of my favorite models mainly because of the colors.

A beautiful model in an exceptional color. The backdrop setting just draws you in to total nostalgia. 💯😎

Who knew that Onyx Black would go so well with Crocus Yellow?  Apparently FM I suppose.

What about 3-tones?

Oh how I loved the 1950's with their incredible two-tone (and yes, three-tone too) color schemes.  Just one of the several reasons that era of cars is a lasting memory for all of us.  Every car stood out and made a statement, and aside from the chrome, fins, and curves of the cars, it was those color schemes that screamed "look at me" to all of us.  My favorite ear of cars!!!

Both Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint gave us outstanding two-tone '56 Chevy's.   Both of these models are favorites of mine.

And "The Flight of the Bumble Bee" (which was the theme song to the movie serials and his mid-60's TV show) reminds me of The Green Hornet and his Black Beauty.  

Love them all...but it's the '56 Chrysler New Yorker which stands out in my mind when it comes to 3-tones...
