The First Duck Hunt of Wabbit Season

Wise of the hunters to bring a Mallard green Chevy pickup to blend into their duck blind.  Btw...this is, to my knowledge, the only duck hunting endeavor to include a person to chronicle the event.  Mark Trail would be impressed!

only the finest wildlife presentations here.....uncle Marlin would be proud..........the "Spotter" as we call him, is an integral part of a good rabbit duck squad

Thanks Tony !!....this little duck,in the color coordinated truck, has been sitting at knee level on my shelves....every time I passed and spotted him,it was like focusing in on a cat that`s been in the same room with you,unnoticed for eons....you see it there,and are taken by how cool it looks,but you resist the urge to disturb it......

as it turned out Jack,eclectic attire was not the worst thing these boys had to deal with on that morning in the marshlands

I think Clete is confusing "What's up Doc?" with "What's up Duck?"  He must have been thrown onto his melon on his last bronc ride.

Perhaps 😏 ...... Clete has always been somewhat out of focus and melon bumping is as good a theory as others

Poindexter eventually wore out his precarious welcome with the boys,what with all the yelling and pointed accusations....shortly after frame #2, he mysteriously ceased to be such a thorn in their sides......so much so, that Clete briefly considered removing his chaps
