The 16 petal chrysanthemum is the dynastic symbol that graced Emperor Hirohito's 1935 Mercedes-Benz 770 (WO7) Grosser Pullman limousine. It had a 200 HP supercharged straight 8 to propel this armored car with steel plates in the doors and under the roof along with bullet-proof glazing. The car exists today at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. This FM model seems to be an under contented copy of the PMA/Xonex model that had been released years earlier. It still provides a nice presentation.

I bought the PMA version well after buying the FM, and quickly sold the FM soon after. "under contented" is spot on!

thanks Rich

@geoff-jowett I bought two of the PMA and had to return both with broken front suspensions I couldn't fix and kinda gave up.

I have this and have looked at it as being a place holder piece of history in my collection. As I recall the PMA was a darker red color rather than this bright red. Which is correct Rich?
