I (actually) tested in the plain vanilla `61 Fairlane that would eventually become my first car.... Â
And that was a GREAT first car to have! My first was a 1930 Ford model A that I worked on for a year before selling it and buying a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door. I had my license by then (at 15, in Florida 1962) I traded it in 1964 for a new '64 GTO - my first four-speed stick. Most of my cars from then on were stick shift trans.

LOVE the photo! That Waspinski kid ALWAYS took way more than half of everyone's Rolo's.
Oh yeah! Out West I recall many an Isetta used during round-up time. Especially the blue ones. The cattle don't see the color blue as a threat. They think they are following a Blue Little Doogie!Â
Boy your comments sure triggered memories of that legendary cowboy ballad "Git Along Little Isettas".
"there`s a tree a-growin`on the hillside with a limb for all to see" is as close as we can get Jack
