Every time I pass my display I find myself stopping to admire this model, I can’t get enough of it. I decided to pull it down and study over it and thought I’d share it with those that don’t own one. To me it’s pure perfection.
Take a moment to thank all of the brave men and women who gave their all to preserve our Liberty and Freedom this Memorial Day.May they rest in peace.
I wouldn't argue with your choice of pretty and perfection OR your appreciated statement of Memorial Day.
Cadillac ? My phone screen is not that big.
Thanks, Steve
It is quite regal indeed. I can completely understand your sentiment Kev. It's older than I collect, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate their beauty. We have always had the epitome of brave men AND women in uniform. They all deserve the utmost respect. Whether they've passed on, retired or still serving. I salute every one. May our Heaveny Father grant them all peace and rest.🙏Amen. My prettiest model? My wife Deb.😊
Kevin, you made me stop and take time looking at my copy of this handsome model. FM and DM did quite a few models of Cadillacs of the era and I love them all. Thank too for your comments about why we recognize this day. May God bless those who gave all that we may live in a country that allows us the freedoms we enjoy.
This is my era of interest and what company created this model?

Danbury Mint V16 Cadillac Sedan. A follow up to their all black model of a few years earlier.
@perrone1 Thank you. I have that one in my Watch list at the moment. The pics on eBay don't show how nice it actually is..

It's one of those situations where it is a well loved model but not a limited edition, yet still hard to find on the secondary market. Most people bought the black 1932 car in good numbers. The repaint, here in black and blue, didn't come out right away and people were obviously satisfied with the back unit.
Both have nice detailing.
@geno I love the black DM Caddy but I wanted to brighten my display up and love the shade of blue that it’s done in. I have limited discretionary income and display space so I don’t double up on models. I actually owned the FM Capone version as it went with my FM Bonnie and Clyde and DillingerFords but sold it when I got the blue DM. Regrettable decision on my part, it is a really fine and unique model. I’ll probably replace it in the future.
The Bonnie and Clyde models are very, very nicely done and have unique to the Mints body styles.
FM also offered a Caddy Phaeton ‘Elliot Ness’ model in a couple versions.
