I was only 11 when I first saw the '57 Turnpike Cruiser and I was torn between recoiling in horror or laughing myself silly. We had names for these land yachts and let's just say they are now hardly politically correct (hey, I was only 11). Over a half century later, I found myself appreciating this model as the epitome of over-the-top automotive styling. DM was absolutely correct to replete the model with all the bells and whistles available. It's only missing fox tails on the antennas and fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror. I absolutely adore this model.

A really outstanding model-it looks fantastic with all those "Bells & Whistles"
