For all of us who got addicted to Diecast collecting, we can look back now 20 and 30 years at how our models have stood "The Test of Time". Meaning, are they still as pristine today as they were when we first added them to our collections.
When I walk in to my car room, there is always a model that catches my eye, as if I'd never seen it before. This Franklin Mint '49 Buick Roadmaster was one that grabbed me this morning. It was almost as if I'd just opened the box it came in for the first time and examined it.
It was a beautiful model then and it's a beautiful model now!

It is a great model for its time. The colors are an excellent choice. DM gave us some beautiful '47 & '48 examples, I would have loved it if they had applied their skills to an updated '49.
All-in-all, the FM '49 is still a nice model and one I am happy to have in my collection. Great choice this morning George, thanks.
