THE TIPSTER WAS SITTING IN THE CORNER...
at Rosie's bar, nursing a tomato juice and a dull headache from the night before while perusing the auction listings for the day. That's what he does...unearths the gems, the doozies, the real deals, the gee-whizzers...and pushes them out from the shadows and dark alleys where he lurks and into the light of day.
His eye caught this little chick-a-dee of a deal, an FM '40 Duesenberg SJ Convertible Town Car resplendent in a particularly dark shade of black, coachwork by Rollson and sporting all the class and style you'd expect from the high-brow joints up in the Hamptons, grand dames like this don't pop up very often.
