This 1959 Cadillac 62 convertible. My buddy next door bought one of these in 1966 and although it was pretty tired looking by then, we'd do the weekend promenade ala "American Graffiti" on State Street in Perth Amboy. We weren't very successful, but it was fun. This 30 year old Danbury Mint model was my first Cadillac. This was the first DM model that didn't look like a cheap knock-off of an FM release and I was amazed at how well it was done.
The International Fins Award, however, might go to this German Borgward:
This car has to the best choice for "making a statement". I really do not like this car but really do appreciate it for how well it represents the fin era in automotive history.
@perrone1 It was a tribute to American Air and Space superiority in the 1950's: a jet fighter on wheels.
The only nice thing I can say about the '59 Cadillac is, "the dashboard is beautiful".

The guy with the Cybertruck says all the above are ugly as ugly can be.
I do have the DM model and absolutely love it. I think it's one of those WAY under-appreciated models.
