Sorry John, I was just joking and not trying to be critical. Anyway, since you asked.
Its possible that scenarios with elephants occurred but these beige Africa Korps vehicles were operated in the north Sahara desert from Tunisia to Egypt during WWII. Camels yes, elephants no. Any elephant territories were lost to Germany in WW1. Â The Sahara in North Africa is dusty with little vegetation other than the wadis and the odd oasis. Your images look like an oasis and are well done. Love that old Brunswick recording.
