I turned 56 on January 29th. So what’s one do for his birthday but buy a from me to me gift! I snagged this beauty for about $82 total. It’s MIB no papers. Now WHY do I say this is why I don’t collect pick ups? Because it’s so well done I now want more! A mighty fine looking ‘58 Apache in great color! I knew this would start something! Lol oh well ….. sorry for poor quality pictures, it’s late and on second Run n Coke! Lol
Very nice Phil!
Excellent Phil. Welcome to the pickup club.
you picked a FINE example to dip a toe into the truck pool Phil....maybe even the MOST attractive form factor of the mint trucks....great post 😀
It's a beauty. All the DM Pickups are great. I joined the pickup club when DM had it and got a special delivery about once every 3 months. So I have all the pickups they made and love them all.

Holy Moses !!!......I thought you guys were just bandying about the "pickup club" thing like a bit of a catch phrase......Way to go John!!!
The pictures are great..I was hoping for an early 50’s Studebaker but it didn’t happen.

David, I would have loved an early 50s Studebaker pickup.

Me too. I liked it because it was different from the others. The U.S. Model Mint '52 in 1:43 is really nicely done.
Belated happy birthday Phil. I have most of the DM pickups, they are a great addition and help diversify my collection.
I only wish Trax had have made a 1/24 pickup (Australian ute) from their early Holden tooling.
They are such an important part of Australian motoring, and even cultural history. Just another of my frustrations with Trax.
Jack I have the Model Mint 52 and it's a great model.
No pickups here too (only few exceptions). Phill, stay strong!
Thanks for all the comments. I’ll have to be disciplined but I know this won’t be my last! I already do own TFM 2000 Christmas pick up , 1998 ? Pick up (Cameo), FM flying A pick up , DM 1931?? Maroon/black Ford pU so I guess I lied lol but the Christmas Pick ups were bought as Christmas item for holidays , the flying A I bought on a FM super sale. I think they had them for $50 !!!! I bought three of them! Lol and the DM 31 Ford was just too cute to pass up and it fit into my 1930s “oldies” models so….. I’ll def add more
