Looks GREAT! And I love the absence of the conny kit!

I love this car in any scale; the black/red contrast really works well on this convertible.  Like Tony, I think a connie would ruin its look totally.  Not a big fan of skirts either.

Hollis, I think on this particular model, the Skirts make it so much better.  For some reason to my eyes, this model by DM always looked "stubby" compared to their other '58 Chevy's they did for us, so the skirts make it appear a little longer.  And I'll add that though this model came with a "Top", it looks 100% better without it, as somehow DM's top for it just doesn't look right.  All in all, I like your improvements!  

Fantastic Hollis. I never got any of the DM 58's because of the slope of the rear quarters. I just never could get past it.  That's just me though.😟
