These are some photo's of 7 of 8  AMT Masterpiece models that were sold completely painted and assembled.  They are: 66 Riviera, 57 Chrysler 300, 71 Dodge Charger, 70 1/2 Camaro Baldwin Motion, 60 Ford Starliner, 62 Chevrolet Impala, and 58 Edsel.  The fit and finish is fantastic and detail is quite good.  The only issue I have is on the Charger, where the hood does not fit just right and it looks like the whole car is a little skew.  4 out of the 7 were not made in diecast so it is nice to display with my cars.  AMT also made many of the models a pre-painted kits that you can put together.  I have a lot of these that I hope to make in my retirement years.

John, I have seen these and they are really nice. The only one I have is the Riviera.

they look great John. I did not realise they could come up as well as that, clearly your modelling skills at work.

Geoff.  Thanks for the kind words, but I did not build them.  They came that way from AMT.  It was a short lived adventure for them.  But I am glad that I got the 7 I have.

They are well done.  I have the Chevy and the Ford, plus this Pontiac.  It must be a drag car because it's wearing slicks.

Geno: Thanks, but how did you find this post from 3 years ago.  I forgot I even posted them.  I have the 62 Pontiac now in two kit forms.  I built the green one, but cannot locate in my crowded car room and I just purchased the Pontiac again but in the maroon color as a kit.  Will build this one soon.

John, ordinarily we would make Geno buy the next round of drinks at the Lounge for resurrecting such an old thread. But it's such a good one - drinks on the house! Cool

John, those are great looking models.  Are they still available, or oldies from a bygone time?  I'd add them all to my shelf

3 years ago! I remember them now too! I'm making up the Riviera now, first go at BMF. I really want the Edsel and Starliner, I'll start looking again.

@georgeschire George.  I do not believe they are manufactured as completely assembled any longer.  You can search ebay.  I did find a few of them in kit form as pre-painted models, but you would need to build them.  Good luck.
