As I prepared a little statement concerning my absence, I see the post concerning that absence here on the Forum. Please understand why my difficulties at this time have kept me away. I will post the comments I prepared for the Forum 43 board and thank you for your concerns.
To Forum 24 & Forum 43 Members,
I wanted to touch base here as I've been away for a while. A few weeks or so ago I sent an email to John Kuvakas concerning my absence and although I'm not ready to explain with any details. I just wanted everyone to know I'm still around. I hope to be able to be a bit more visible here going forward as I've have come to terms with a few issues that have kept me away. I am still a long way from normal (whatever that means) but with counseling, prayers and my own determination to move forward, some things are looking a little better. I believe I still have a long and difficult road to travel, but I am, at least, now taking small steps forward.
Thank you for understanding and forgive me for my reluctance to elaborate further.

happy to respond twice, all the best John, yes you are missed. One day at a time.
John, you are missed. I'll add you to my prayer list. Remember, the Lord ALWAYS has you back. I can't begin to count the times I've had to rely on his strength. God bless you buddy.🙏
John Merritt...much appreciation for your checking in. Know you have been missed and certainly it was only concern that I posed the question of your whereabouts. My prayers are a plenty for you that you have success with the issues you are dealing with. And no problem with being vague with what is keeping you away, me and others will eagerly await your return when you do. As a side note John, though you and I have never met in person, I will offer my two big ears to be a sounding board if you ever need them. Needing someone to lean on once in awhile is never something to shy away from. God bless you friend!

Thanks for the update John. Stay strong...you will be in our prayers; you can count on that.
Thank you for sharing your situation John. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hardships and other obstacles are an unfortunate part of life. Your determination to get past them is inspiring to us all. Wishing you continued success in moving forward.
