Turnpike Cruiser Tuesday .... a tad excessive, but hey... it was 1957. With the conti kit, it barely fits in my display case!
photo no longer available
Love this one as well as the pink/black version & the convertible.

John you have the “corrected” version! What do I mean? .....
DM first issued this model with frames around the door glass! They later reissued it corrected as your model shows.
Thanks Phil.. I had no eye deer.

GREAT shots John!
John sorry for posting that. I thought you might not have known there where TWO VERSIONS
Cruiser modified!
Just after I purchased it, my Turnpike Cruiser went to K and S Models (Paul Kravchak) and became a hardtop (door frames removed, rear windows down), and the continental kit removed - still have it and it's one of my favorites!
I`m grateful for your post Phil ?!?
the minutia of details associated with our little cars are of HUGE appeal to (I imagine) ANY collector
fine photos John !
If this isn`t my favorite diecast car,I just don`t know what IS :)).........one o` these babies on a sparsely populated highway back in the fifties.....tank full up with 27? gas...........Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I thought you posting " i had no EYE DEER" was sarcasm / humor hinting that you knew already.
