I'm impressed! Two of the three "Automodello" '54 Buick Riviera's I ordered arrived today. The Matador Red version is #14 of 54 and the Arctic White version is #24 of 54. Both models are impressive!
I'm still waiting for the "Green" version to arrive, hope it's not lost in the shuffle somewhere. My mail service is beyond bad.

Congratulations George. They look like beautiful models. I like the white the best. I am on the fence about ordering one of these. I just don't collect this scale anymore. I have moved fully into 1:43 and will probably dramatically downsize my 1:24 scale models next year, so buying another seems foolish right now.
I do love to still look at them and enjoy those models that belong to others.

George, they look really nice, but for the price they want and only being a static model, i was not really interested. Even though what I have seen of the work that Automodello does is all good.
Very nice models George! My fave of the three is the white one; the red interior contrasts very well.
Thanks for sharing George. My green one should be arriving any day now. The white one is my favorite color in this car but since I have a 1/43 Motor City in white I opted for the green a color a local doctor owned back in the day.
@bob-jackman. I too, ordered the "green" one. I hope it arrives soon. I thought they may all arrive together, so not getting the green one today, sort of scared me. I've not received any notification of any sort for Automodello on any of the three models arriving. These two just showed up today. I ordered all three cars at the same time back on March 28, 2022.

John, you are right they are not cheap. That's a turnoff for me! But these "Skylark's" were to enticing to pass up. I'm not sorry I decided to get them. I'm still waiting for the "Green" version to arrive. Hope it's soon. With regard to you considering downsizing your 1:24 collection next year, I hope you will allow me (and others) to have dibs on purchasing them. I'm sure you've some models that I'd definitely like to add to my collection. Maybe you could provide a list.

Two beauties George! I like the white one the best because of the contrasting interior.

Interesting you mention the contrasting color, as that was my thought too. However, as I've mentioned here in the past, I'm not a "white" car fan. I've never actually considered it to even be a color, as to my eyes it is void of personality. But yes, the red interior on the white Skylark, is nice. I'm looking forward to receiving the "Green" model, hopefully soon.

As the saying goes, "ask and you shall receive". And receive I did, as the GREEN '54 Buick Skylar Convertible from Automodello arrived on my doorstep TODAY. As were the other two, it is an incredible model. Yes, a little more hefty in price, but based on the nostalgia the car represents, it is worth it.

I see the antenna is fixed and the hubcaps seem fixed. George, can you post close ups of the dash and the wheels, thanks.
@chav - a closeup of the dash and wheels - may be a little blurry, can't get any closer with my cheap Motorola else it gets even worse.
Also is a link to a 24 min yt video of what I am assuming is the actual car on which the green version was based for anyone interested.
@bradsmith Brad, thanks for the video, extremely informative. I see, the decals are fixed.
As I've said, I like the models and I'm glad I have them. That said, unless it was a really special car, I'd not make it a habit of adding Automodello's to my collection. For the price, they lack all the moving parts and detail that we were used to with the Mint models. Paying $250 and higher for each car is not something I can justify.

They look to be very nice models, and for that reason I ordered one of the Skylarks in white. I like the green one as well, but I think one example will suffice. Mine should arrive in a few days.
