VERY nice & colorful group of Continental Mark IIs. I just have the Presidential Black and Dubonnet Red versions, the latter having had the rear side windows removed by the previous owner.
I enjoy playing with all of them on the floor. (HA!)
Won't believe it till I see paint chips ...
Once my wife (pediatrician) and I were watching a documentary about a man in in his 30's (a well functioning adult with a job and everything), who had an oversized baby crib plus bunch of baby toys, he was dressing as a baby, playing in the crib, and all this was helping him to get comfortable and deal with anxiety etc. So, I joked (inappropriately for the guy) that there is worse than me (collecting "toys"); you know humor is a more sophisticated defense mechanism and I was also hoping to get some sympathy points (now realizing that this is actually projection) .... Then the slap in the face came: "You are just locked at different age!" All of a sudden I had way more sympathy for the guy on the TV. Just another way our hobby (and our wives) makes us better persons... Looks like playing with toys and collecting in general have deep roots in human psychology...
