Just got these two off of Ebay. A Crown Premiums 69 Mustang done for Harley Davidson. And a 61 Jaguar E Coupe, this is a Chinese model. Got them cheap $10 for the Mustang and $30 for the Jaguar. The Jaguar even has working lights, but I have not pulled out the tag for the batteries.
Hi John,
Thanks for this. I also picked up that 1961 Jaguar from Temu in China. It was not listed as a Jaguar and does have a few modifications not on the actual car, the most obvious being the side exhaust pipes. Nicely detailed XK 6 cylinder engine but note the V12 label on the rear. I removed that and the 30 on the doors. Mine is silver and cost me $16 delivered. Got a 1990 Mazda Miata from the same source in 1/24 red.
@david-green Thanks, David, I will have to look at TEMU for the Miata. I would like to have one.
@perrone1 What Tony said. One of my favorite ‘Matchbox’ cars. It should have had a PG rating!
Great hauls John, congrats. By the way, thanks for the fantastic brochures!
congrats John, being able to find wanted unique pieces at exceptional value is a highlight of collecting for me. Well done sir!
Cool models John, and a great catch on both. I have the CP Boss 429. It is an extremely nice model as well. 😊
David looks like mine, and you paid less. I checked them out on Temu, did not realize all the diecast they had. Will probably order more from them.
