The one I bought is a 1937 Studebaker Woody put out by Crown Premiums. The two I built are, 1970 Shelby made by Revell, and a 1976 Chevrolet Luv high Roller by Revell.
All three - excellent! I, too, just bought a Crown Premiums 37 Studebaker Woody Wagon. It says Studebaker on the side panels and has two surf boards with it. I need to get some pics. Your builds are fantastic!
@perrone1 I have two other Stude Woodies. One is a Napa and the other is Lennox.
John, all 3 exceptional. I was hoping one of the Mints would get around to the '69 Shelby. I always liked how they were giving us a hint at the 71-73 Mustang nose but on the 69-70 body. And what can I say? I'm a sucker for pickups, lol. Crown Premiums make such great models. It's amazing the prices you can get them for. I've seen that Studie as a surf woody also. I've thought about getting one but just haven't pulled the trigger...... yet.😊
@cprust Sorry Chet, I can't take credit for these beauties, they're John's works of art.💯😊
@carsman1958 I do like the woodie. I will have to see if it is available over here.
I've had that woody for must be 25 years. Its a great old model. Crown Premiums, Unique Replicas. They also make a Studebaker pickup. Must have made many for different companies over the years. I think I recall even Franklin Mint selling a Christmas version?
gonna have to find one of those Shelbys. Great work John, brilliant engine bays on both.
