I hope I’m not jumping off topic, but I wanted to share these little accessories with you. I just finished the white one, and I’m quite happy with it. They are 1/24 scale diecast from Ertl, and are included in various Coca Cola model kits. I get them on eBay, where the sellers sell them separately. They usually come with real nice decal sheets, and come painted white. I have quite a few Danbury Coke models and rods, and they display great with them.
@lu I love the Mercury Lu. When I received this model I was surprised when I looked at the top as I had never seen one in 1'1 scale but it is 100% accurate. I wonder where an owner might find a replacement when it became necessary.
@geoff-jowett Just thought I’d add another shot to show how true to scale the machine is, it looks dead-on to me. If you do decide on one, make sure it has the full decal sheet, they really make it “pop”!
Undervalued Tuesday! Today we have a 1941 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special from the Danbury Mint. Even though it has old technology and a lower part count, this little beauty is a solid performer with four opening doors. I believe it is undervalued on the secondary market. Highly recommended!
@kevins sorry about the late reply Kevin. Heres a 1940 Ford Coke van I recently finished. Nice kit and I'm quite happy with how its come up. I have at least one color of all DMs 40 Fords, except the one you're showing! I'd hoped to show them all together but this model is the first 1/25 I've come across that really is noticeably smaller than the 1/24s so it looks a bit out of place with the DM 1/24s. However it should mix well with DMs yellow and black vans and trucks. Heres the decal sheet that came with the van, similar to yours and I have a lot left over to use over time.
@geoff-jowett Geoff I agree with the spectacular interior on the Cadillac. The Sixty Special was a beautiful body style IMO. I liked the model well enough that I also have the green one as well.
Busy Wednesday and Thursday! A week filled with travels and meetings - must find time for toy cars 😊 Here is an engine lift constructed by an Italian model artisan out of copper. Consider this as a sneak peek, because the engine lift came with a table, a V-12 powerplant, and a Ferrari. Enjoy!

a wonderfully constructed teaser for the upcoming presentation 😎

beautiful build Geoff......your staging is artistic and very effective 🙂
@john-barry thanks John. We've discussed before our preference for vans/trucks to be displaying company/business logos, graphics etc. I've just ordered this. Been after one at a reasonable price for a while pretty much solely because of the great Waterman graphics. Does look like an old kit so I'm hoping the decals are OK.
