D4C Friday! Today’s feature is the Franklin Mint 1940 Packard Custom Eight Darrin Convertible. It’s a truly beautiful model with exceptional detail. My only complaint is the oversized hood ornament—but otherwise, it’s a standout piece. Enjoy!

I remember the controversy about the color when the model was released. Miami Sand. Oh for the days when we could comment extensively on a newly released Mint models color, rather than comment extensively on no new Mint models!Love those Packards. It is a beauty. 🤑
