great representation Lu
@lu do you mean "early pre-production"; what makes it "early", just curious, does it have differences with the released version?
@chav Early production piece is probably a better description. The hood is painted without the white stripe and there is no emblem on the front grille. These issues were corrected in later releases.

I see. I’ve seen the model many times but was never excited to own it, so I never knew it’s history. Some times the lack of emblems at the beginning of production may be due to incomplete licensing. I have one Town and Country that was produced without emblems because of licensing issues at the beginning.
thats a rare one Dan, nice pics.
Very rare! Also, it is the only MB in the series with painted hubcaps on the spare wheels. All other color combinations have chrome hubcaps on the spares.
Compact Sunday! Today we have a GAC Trumpchi GA4. The actual car was officially launched during the 2018 North Amerian International Auto Show in Detroit. Sales in North America was planned to start in 2019 but never came to fruition. The GA4 has a 1.5-liter inline-four power plant and a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The starting price was set to $11,600 and topped out at $18,300.
The GA4 looks very cool, I've never heard of it. You have some very amazing models.
I do have the Mercedes in yellow/blue. I received it as a mistake. I ordered the black-red version from David Sinclair many years ago, he shipped me the wrong one. David offered to switch it as soon as he got another, but I was so thrilled with this color combination- I said no. I never got around to getting the red-black one.

This one is extremely difficult to find, I have seen one for sale over the last 6-7 years. I do have the CMC version with red interior, and that is difficult to find too. I think the company that used the CMC molds was called Vanbo, they made: yellow and red top down, as well as cream and black top up, all of them with off-white interior.
