@chav You are right, it's called Vanbo, not Vanke. The latter made the CA7220 on page 3. Folks, sorry for the confusion 😎

@lu I have the original and the error version. But do not have the Police of Fire Editions.

@lu I have these two as well. And a lot of variations of the 68,69's that are out there from DM and First Gear.

Nimble Thursday! Today we have a French spec right-hand-drive MG A 1600 Coupé from Southeastern Finecast. The hood and trunk lid can be removed to show the engine and spare tire. Magnificent little car, highly recommended!

Love that MGA Coupe. Southeastern Finecast have produced a nice variety of white metal kits.

The MGAs an old favorite, very popular here in Melbourne late 50s early 60s. Another unique model to look out for, thanks Lu.

Love it (re: MGA). Never seen it before, is it factory built or built kit?

Wow, what a great model. I would also like to know the answer to Chav's question.

@chav @bob-jackman To my knowledge, Finecast only sold the kit version. This particular model was built by Mr. Ron Platt, the pattern maker and model builder at Finecast. I'm hesitant to call it a factory-built because I don't have the background story.

Going Straight Saturday! Today we have a 1955 Ford Thunderbird Dry Lake Racer from Danbury Mint. I think this is one of Danbury Mint’s best cars. A must-have for me.

I have the 1925 Ford Model T Salt Flats Car, fantastic little model. I remember seeing the SoCal racer years ago somewhere, might have been here on the old forum? Only ever seen it the once. Hopefully some pics coming up Lu? I think the story with it said they were made from old WWII plane fuel drop tanks?
