That was my 500th post. Milestone 😎

Congrats Lu. Our most popular 1:24th recurring post. I made it a 'sticky post' some time back and it's still going strong!Β  Thank you my friend, what a wonderful resource!

why oh why didn't they do it in black? IMO much better than silver and of course not the same as DMs. The red looks great too.

Racing Thursday! Here we have a 1952 Mercedes 300 SL Carrera Panamericana from CMC. The bars over the windshield should hold off the first wave of Zombie attacks 😊

Comparison Sunday! Today we have another factory-built DB3S from CMA. This is the number 24 car driven by Roy Salvadori and Peter Walker. Noticed some of the differences?

Coupe Monday! Here we have a factory-built 1952 Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe from Western Models. Most of these were sold under the Small Wheels brand. This one has Western Models stamped on the chassis and it came with Western Models' packaging. The hood is functional, the engine bay is nicely replicated, and the paint is deep and rich with no defects. Enjoy!

thanks Lu, I regularly check ebay for Small Wheels, Western Models and Finecast for these and their other factory built models you've presented. Damned hard to find! A coupe would go really well with FM and DMs convertibles.

Aussie Wednesday! Here we have a 1994 Australian Touring Car Championship Ford Falcon from Dinkum Classics. The early releases accidentally came with both side mirrors. The issue was corrected in later releases and only came with the driver’s side mirror.Β

Four-Star Thursday! To honor Veterans Day, let’s show something really special. Here is a M1A1 Abrams tank from Franklin Mint. It is signed by General Norman Schwarzkopf Jr. FM produced a couple for a charity auction. Other than the signature, there are several subtle differences between this version and the regular production version. Enjoy!
