Where Are You Going Friday? Today we have a 1936 Wanderer 25K (Kompressor) Roadster from CMC. The front grille and wheels are exquisite, highly recommended! If you are looking for one, make sure it comes with the emblem on the front grille 😊

Besides the hood ornament, the trunk hinges are delicate and easy to break and some models have paint rash, particularly the red version. I have the three colors and enough parts to make one with cream body and red fenders.
lu you had me wondering about my Wanderer and the grill badge...everything's where it belongs.
Same here! But to Chav's point, I had to repair one of the trunk hinges. It came broken.

Actually, I remember now that I heard about the hinges issue from you Rich, and then I saw some Wanderers with broken hinges on eBay. I personally have not had that problem.Â
@lu These are awesome models but their windows especially the rear one gets undone over time and they are so difficult to fix. Mine (silver) is still in pieces. I have a kit too. I had an opportunity to buy a red one and a blue one but because of the window issue I opted out.
Le Mans Sunday! Here we have another factory-built Ferrari 250 GT Sperimentale from Tecnomodel. Fernand Tavano and Giancarlo Baghetti raced the #12 car in the 1961 Le Mans 24 Hours competition.Â
18 years on ebay I have been periodically searching Tecnomodel 1/24. Never seen one of these. It looks spectacular. As always thanks Lu.
Geoff, they do show up for sale but rarely and usually sellers want top dollars. When they don't sell, sometime they will auction them ... there is bunch of 1:24 Tecnomodel's for sale on eBay right now, most of them from Italy, so make sure you search worldwide.
Besides the rear window getting undone, another issue with these is that often the hood cover is warped or has a large gap, so if the hood is not shown closed and shot from above that should raise a red flag. See below for example, a car that recently sold on eBay, it has slight warpage of the hood cover and big gap (this basically cannot be repaired).
@chav thanks Chav. Interestingly the only way I can view that model is via your link. I've often wondered if there are restrictions or ebay "guidance" on searchs from here in Australia and possibly other countries. I'll continue to have a play around. As of now I cannot find the 1:24s for sale that you mention. The only model that appears on the U.S. ebay site is a late model Ferrari from replicarz. 6 items come up under the international sellers heading, all 6 are 1/18.
