Heavy Hauler Saturday! Here we have a Foton Auman. Foton, a subsidiary of Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., manufactures agricultural equipment, buses, and light/heavy-duty trucks. The Auman truck has a Mercedes sourced chassis, a Cummins engine, and an Eaton transmission. I found this model at London’s Portobello Market. It was in pieces, but all the parts were there. I was completely shocked to find anything in the 1/24th scale, let alone something this unique.
Swiss Sunday! Today we have a 1951 Saurer Alpenwagen. This incredible model was produced in 2006, and it is getting difficult to find. It came with two roofs: a full cover roof and a folded open version. Other accessories include a snowplow, one driver figure, and four milk drums. The front wheels are steerable, the driveshaft rotates when the rear wheels are in motion, the headlights and brake lights are functional. A tow-behind luggage wagon was available for purchase when the bus was first released. If you are a vintage bus enthusiast, this is definitely a must-have.
Wal-Mart Monday! Here we have Mr. Walton’s 1979 Ford F-150 Custom from JTC Collectibles. The model came with a Danbury Mint-style outer white box, clear plastic clamshell inner packaging, a transparent plastic display case with a black base, and paperwork. Did you notice the faded roof? Bent antenna? All the rusty spots? And the cracked windshield? This little gem also came with Ol’ Roy the dog, a box of Wal-Mart brand dog food, a spare tire, and a damaged rear bumper. The model was produced for and auctioned off at a Wal-Mart staff fundraising event.
Workhorse Tuesday! Today we have a Chevrolet Express from Diecast Promotions. The side and back doors are functional. The proportion is very accurate. Diecast Promotions also made a GMC version. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Like a favored pair of jeans,an old pickup gets better and more comfortable with each scratch and every piece that falls off .....Thanks for the great post lu
Cousin Wednesday! Here we have Express’ cousin Savana. Diecast Promotions did a great job with these vans. The exposed side door hinges gave it a more “intricate” look.
