Excellent looking model.
Volkswagen Monday! Today we have a Shanghai Volkswagen Santana 2000 from Checkmate. The original Santana was based on the second-generation Passat (B2) which was sold in the North American market as Quantum. The Santana 2000 was designed exclusively for the Brazilian and the Chinese markets. The Chinese version has a longer wheelbase and rear doors than its Brazilian cousin.
that looks great Lu. Is that the one just unsold on ebay for US $511 Chav?
I used to think I knew just about all the 1/24 makers, yet nearly every week you spring an unknown one on me! Great stuff.
Prototype Wednesday! Today we have a Honda S800 Coupe prototype from Ebbro. This is one of four prototypes made, and it came with the mock-up foam box. The production version is an open top convertible. If you missed the Ebbro model, you can still get the S800 from Hachette’s 100 Famous Domestic Cars series. I will post some pictures later.
This a great model, I have the 3 colors convertibles but love the coupe. The convertibles are notorious for their scarcity and paint rash.
@6500in6th That will buff right out 😜
People Mover Friday! Today we have a third generation Sichuan Toyota Coaster. This model was made in the year 2000 to commemorate the first Coaster built in Toyota’s Sichuan facility. As a marketing tool and a giveaway gift, very few models were made. The bulk of the batch was painted in beige, a handful were done in turquoise. If you missed it, the champagne-colored facelift versions are readily available.
excellent, thanks Lu. The 30s? yellow bus below the lineup has me intrigued?
