Mythical Creature Friday! Today we have a 1955 Jaguar D-Type Le Mans race car from Spark/Le Mans Miniatures. This one was hard to find!!! My search started in 2010 and I finally found one last week 😊 It is much lighter than Historic Replicars’ D-Type, but it has more photo-etched parts. Please see the comparison photos below. The Spark/Le Mans Miniatures version is on the left, and the Historic Replicars version is on the right.
Sorry Geoff, it is really hard to find, but more are coming for sale ... likely ...
I got one, out of the blue, several months ago, just popped on eBay from Europe, don't remember the price but no more that $200 (since I didn't hesitate buying it). Good Luck!
Lotus Saturday! Here we have a 1965 Lotus 33 from Christian Gouel. What a beautiful model!!! I sent Christian a picture of the model after I acquired it. A few days later, a pair of new side race numbers showed up in my mailbox. I haven’t changed them out, but thank you, Christian!

Bought the Jaguar for EUR199 in February 2022, with the USD being so strong buying diecast from Europe is now deflationary for US buyers. 1Euro < 1USD, of course this is likely temporary until every country starts rising their interest rates ...

Animal Sunday! Today we have a 1915 Stutz Bearcat Roadster from Franklin Mint. Old tech but still beautiful! I like the yellow version better; however, the red one is the number one car. Must have it. Enjoy!
Group Photo Monday! Let's do something slightly different today - a group photo - all British and all green. Enjoy!

Dazzling !!! ............with the background reflection of countless display shelving, it calls to mind that final shot in which Indiana Jones` recovered treasure gets warehoused
