SUV Tuesday! Here we have a second-generation Y400 SsangYong Rexton. SsangYong Motor Company is a Korean automaker. It was owned by Daewoo, SAIC, and Mahindra. KG Group now owns it. The Y400 Rexton comes with a 2.0 gas turbo engine or a 2.2 diesel power plant. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, six-speed auto, seven-speed auto, and eight-speed auto. On this model, the front doors and hood are functional. Β Β Β

Pick-Up Wednesday! Today we have a SsangYong Rexton Sports Khan. FYI – SsangYong is the only Korean automaker offering a true pick-up truck. Sorry Hyundai Santa Cruz, you are a Sports Adventure Vehicle. Anyway, the Khan was created to compete with Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and Jeep Gladiator. The secret weapon is the price – starting at 29.9M Won and topping out at 40M Won. The Colorado begins at 40.5M Won, the Ranger starts at 49.9M Won, and the Gladiator starts at 70.7M Won. Similar to yesterday’s Rexton, the front doors and hood are functional. Β Β Β

People Mover Friday! Today we have a Mercedes Benz MB100. This is the same casting as the white Shanghai Huizhong/SsangYong Istana shown on page two; however, this one wears Mercedes badges. Enjoy!

One-Off Monday! Here we have a factory-built one-off 1964 Mustang from Franklin Mint. Well, they actually made two. The count is still low enough to qualify as a one-off. Enjoy!

I probably should have pointed out the difference earlier - the one-off car's interior color and boot cover color are slightly different from the blue limited edition version. Also, there is no LE plate in the trunk, and the trunk linings are different.Β

Sample Tuesday! Today we have a 1940 Packard Custom Convertible Victoria color sample from Franklin Mint. The black color gives the car a different look – it seems to be longer 😊 Enjoy!
