Vintage Files PIC: Another Impala vintage shot from my old files...

Hope you enjoy this shot of the Franklin Mint 1963 Impala Convertible. This model is really nice and doesn't get a lot of press. Wish I had this one back too. I has to sell it but it features in one of my favorite shots....

I like the setting and especially the color on the Impala.

If the front fenders weren't so high over the tires, I'd like this one by FM.

I have the gray and the red hardtops by FM, and they have the same high front ends. Plus no wing windows!

For my money, this was not one of FM's better offerings. It's a great pic though Patty, and I appreciate your sharing it. THANKS!

Fm actually left off the wing windows? And if the model has a working suspension the ride height could be adjusted.

I can forgive this model's ride height. Worse is DM's 1960 White Convertible....

....the ride height on that model is unforgivable for a precision DM offering. And still, I forgive it and remains one of my faves (still looking to trade for one if anyone is interested). I can't help it, I have a thing for Impalas and will take them with all their glaring defects. LOL.

Thanks, guys.
