Finally I found an affordable one 😍 it's a little brownish compared to the red Beetle, but love it.

It certainly is a beautiful model. Is that open top made of some type of material or is it molded in plastic ?

It is a Franklin mint. The top is made of cotton/fabric. It can be moved, so you can open or close the roof. The rest of the car is metal with plastic parts, like for instance the chromed mirror. I believe Tony made some beautiful pictures of the blue limited version last year.

excellent find, you did well, they rarely appear on the secondary market. I have a couple of M2s that will suffice until I too, hopefully, find one at a reasonable price.
