WANTED, I'm looking for a DM 1925 Ford Model-T Runabout Ltd. Ed. in all black, with running lamps..

Sorry to keep posting this every day, but trying to get as much exposure and information as possible. Also see previous message string #16248 and related responses.

Does anyone own this model, or know if anyone else does? It was only available to those who purchased the very popular 1925 Model-T Touring Car LE. It was released in November 2003, and has only come up for sale on D4C once, on March, 2004. DM claims they sold out long ago, yet no one seems to remember it. Could this car be rarer than the Touring Car version? Please let me know if you have one, and if you would like to sell it. Kiki Khan at DM has confirmed that the all black Runabout LE was produced in much lower numbers than the Touring Car LE, and that both are no longer available at DM.

Please contact me at slwmtn6@sbcglobal.net, or respond on D4CBB if you have any information about this car.

LE 1925 Ford....

I purchased the original offer. It was an LE for the production year 2003. I then was offered, what I think was, the FIRST follow up car that Danbury ever offered. The follow up car is a two seater called a runabout, with a black soft top. I will dig both out and give you all I know if you are interested.... and I may sell but would lean to putting BOTH on auction at one time.... don't know yet.

Called DM UK in London this morning, and they have NONE in Stock !

All of the DM UK Cars are shipped from the DM warehouse in the USA ! I asked them to remove the 1925 Ford Touring LE Car, from the Center of their DM UK Cars WEB page, since the DM USA warehouse has none in Stock !

Sun Star 1:24 1925 T's

I've got the DM LE Tourer and a beauty it is. If DM-type
high detail isn't an absolute, Sun Star make low-cost
(under $25) but very effective alternatives for a 1:24
Model T line-up. They make two runabouts, either
top-up or top-down, with hinged hood(s), pass. door,
toolbox, and very nice poseable wheels&tires. But no
cowl-lights. There is a fire chief tourer with what appear
to be cowl lamps; that could be a part source for adding
to the runabout. Also an excellent fixed-boom wrecker
with very good detail in the rigging.
Wish I had the DM runabout too. HTH.

I stand corrected to the earlier posting...

The Limited Edition 1925 Ford Model T Runabout was offered in 2003 for a period of time through the end of that year. it is the two seater model, in black of course with twin latens attached to the windshield, and can be displayed either top up or top down. Mine is numbered 301, and is on a smal brass plaque inder the running boarad.
I them purchased the follow up "Touring" Le which is a four seater and comes with either top up or top down. This one is numbered 4036... go figure. How many of either of these did they really make?

SunStar '25 T runabouts are on sale at Evers for $15.00 each; top-up or -down.
Hard to tell from 2 ft away from the DM lovlies. Make a
cheap depression-era traffic jam!
