Modern resins and chemical technology has come a long way and prices for quality resins have become lower, so new plastic materials and the method to process them are much more refined and tuned to avoid any of the long term degradation the old materials had. I'm positive a modern resin based car like those at Automodello, will last longer by far in perfect shape and beauty than the best zamac painted models. Plus Raffi is a fanatic for latest tech. he knows the best materials, molding processes, vendors, and techniques for a really well engineered model. Kind of like the Steve Jobs of model cars.... and that's probably not an exaggeration.
Correct. And the old plastic promos back in the 50's and early 60's were mad of accetate plastic.
from the early to mid 60's to the present promos are mad of a cycolac plastic. Accetate plastic was a soft very warpable plastic. Cycolac doesent warp unless expoed to extreme heat.
White top with white interior is the way to go with this color!
