Didn't do nothing to this one. Did have one with a top like the

dark green inside the trim but sold it.

I love this model. One of the many great colors offered by GM for the '58 Impala.  This is one tail end design that must not be covered up by a continental kit IMHO.

I've  always liked the '58 Impalas, I bought these 2 because they came without the connie spares.
