Good choice Richard...definitely one of their best.
Easy, Dm's 64 and 65 T-BIRDS.
Hey Rick, the 1:12th version is easily my fave. Given the...
...parameters in 1:24th, the smaller version was a first thought!!
I, too, miss the days of Danbury Glory!
A tough choice...so many favorites. I love the '56 Lincoln, but my choice is the '59 Bonneville.

Agree on the '59 Ponch....
Owens Corning Corvette racer..........
Just read Tony's review and check out the pics. This model was a stunner in every way possible. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but you can't deny the incredible fidelity and detail of this one. Best DM I ever owned.
For me - '48 MG TC - very well done!!
36 Packard Phaeton followed by the Boss 351 Mustang, 64 T-Bird, 65 T-Bird
Hard to argue with you.... [PIC]

I agree great question based on movie clips, photos and a couple of museum views I'd suggest DMs Model T Touring. Proportions seem so spot on. Based on fewer photos next would be DMs 32 Cadillac V16 Sedan
Well again and I stressed this, not so much your favortite model , the most REALISTIC looking model
I was asking for. That is why I said you could even not like or HATE the car or model, but it might look very life like. For example I dont like Saabs at all, but say there was one that was absolutely miniaturized to perfection and every single detail was perfected in 1:24th scale. THAT very model might be my pick.
Thanks for all your responses! So it seems the DM 64-5 Thunderbirds DO get a lot of recognition
For being superbly miniaturized and realistic looking. I'm glad several agreed with me about the FM New Beetle. You have to see it in person to understand what I'm talking about. The FM Blue 73 Mercedes is pretty good too but a few things detract from an otherwise perfect model. I think the grille and maybe headlights, can't recall. The interior and textures is spot on though and amazing!
Even though it isn't diecast and is a curbside model, I gotta include the fabulous 1971 Continental Mk III. One of the reasons I bought it was because the initial pictures of it looked so much like the real thing. However, I get very frustrasted when I try to open the hood, doors, and trunk!
