Rumor abounded at the time he gave the Nash up because new squeeze Liz refused to ride in any sports car less than her recently totaled red Alpine. Debbie grabbed the Nash out of spite but refused to ride in it so handed it down to Alice, who in her usual juiced condition spent more time in the ditch than on the road.
