"best leave `im lie Jim....if we try to drag his carcass along, we might could lose the whole wagon train"
@john-barry Could you take a screen shot of your home page and post it? Or just post your flickr ID, I will make the link for you.
it works like a charm
you can even type this
"https://www.flickr.com/photos/pickles_malone" without quotes
@john-barry Were you selecting the URL prior to copy? You have to highlight it (select) the URL, then CTRL+C (or right click, Copy)

JB, you are right, in some instances only the text of the URL is copied, instead of this site generating the appropriate source code. If it doesn't work, you can use the "Insert/edit link" button. Do this (BTW in the "Link Text" field you can put anything):

curiouser and curiouser......I had tried modifying "Title" in the third field but had not messed with "Link Text".....gracias para mea culpa
@chav even more importantly, how does one generate a link such as this ? (coolest thing ever!!)
Chav likes chocolate John, and he IS a doctor. He's used that for a LONG time; a wonderful family thing!

this "chocolate John" you speak of..........I do not know this man
I`ve previously found Chav to be sharp as a tack but quick tempered and somewhat less than tolerant with fools (me 🤨 )........the patience and tenacity he showed last night in getting me set up with my technical issue, speaks volumes
Here's an easy way to insert an image from a website into your post.
- Right-click on the image
- Click on "Copy web address" or some reasonable facsimile
- Paste that code into your post (you can right-click, then "paste" or simply hit "cntrl" & "v" at the same time)
Unfortunately, this will not work on images stored on your computer or phone. Nor does it work on all images on websites. But, it will work on most.

Past images are GONE......I searched for the TAG "teardrop" just now to bring up posts I have submitted featuring my teardrop trailer.....all such posts,as recently as 1 month back, have been scrubbed of images !!!!.....If I`ve overstayed my welcome,I`ll leave peacefully.....no need to throw my stuff out
here`s a post I submitted just 2 weeks ago.....images now gone
