En route to the lodge at high speed in his old Chevy panel; impatient driver Bob Sledd hit an icy patch; resulting in a series of wild 360s.  Coming to rest, Bob was dismayed to find his gear had been flung through the rear doors and scattered onto the road; thus ending his alpine weekend plans.

That's just great! Thanks Jack. A freshly made 'perfect' martini. Sit down to relax and read some posts - first sip, when I come to...'..driver, Bob Sledd'....As I say, thanks; now I have to clean gin & vermouth from the keyboard!! Amazed

Much like the old Mad Magazine story layouts, the jokes from Jack come by so frequently you`re bound to miss several on your first few read throughs

Shaken or stirred Tony?  Either way you're a classy guy!

Both are equally good with the right equipment; tall crystal mixer with crystal stirrer or a stainless steel shaker. Even more important is the ice. It should be cracked ice to perfectly infuse a mellow and smooth taste to the Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin and the Martini & Rossi Extra Dry Vermouth. The olive doesn't matter unless it is anything other than a Sicilian olive stuffed with a pearl onion or roasted pepper.
