Why Would You Ever Put The Top UP... [PIC]

My first purchase from WCPD.  Great pics Rich.  I agree, interior is killer!

I love this Chevy model.  And sorry, I not only display it at times with the top UP, I also display it with the fender skirts.  It is gorgeous!  And so is the RED version that I have in my collection from WCPD.

That was a great year for Chevrolet!!!

I have WCPDs champagne? and cream hardtop and DMs convertible, on which I've never put the top up! I put up with the weather.

I display most of my model convertibles with the top up but when it comes to my 1/1 Corvette and Thunderbird I leave the tops down virtually all of the time.

... and hide this gorgeous interior. This 1959 348 Chevy Impala convertible has an interior that belies Chevy being the entry level marque in GM's line up. As one of the last of the true land yachts, with probably 320 HP (on this model), I think as a college kid, I wouldn't have minded sleeping in it. LOL

This is another WCPD classic.
