Geoff, when I retired several years ago I thought I would be on permanent Holiday. Hasn't turned out that way between taking care of a house and three collector cars and activities with two car clubs things are always happening. A week from this coming Saturday we are participating on a garage tour and expect about sixty people to tour my model collection and my wife's dioramas. This Saturday I am taking my Corvette to an all Corvette show weather permitting,

@perrone1 LOL, you nailed it Tony. I have 3 yards to maintain and it seems like it wants to rain here every other day. Drives me nuttier than I already am. 🤪

Your time off because it's raining gives you more time to excel at creating the models you do and posting the pics that you do. We all appreciate it !!!

what a wonderful way to spend a couple of Saturdays Bob.
Gotta admit, I love retirement, best thing I ever did! 3-4 gym sessions a week, 1-2 days volunteering at our magnificent cancer hospital, to keep the brain active studying for a Masters in Global Public Health at a local university, where also it is wonderful to spend time with committed young people, and of course my return to modelling! Cars that is, they wont have me back on the catwalk for some reason!
