A local collector has entrusted me to liquidate his collection of 1500 unique and unusual 1:43 cars, so if you are looking for your holy grail (or just something out of the ordinary), it might be popping up soon at toycargeek.com!

As you can imagine, this monumental project will take months to get through! I have a new associate at the shop that is assisting me with getting the models inspected, photographed, boxed, priced, and listed.

All have been very carefully stored in plastic trays, and all will need to be matched with their original boxes and reattached to their plinths. Most are in mint condition, but any that have damage or missing parts will have that noted on the listings. Pricing is based on recent eBay sales whenever possible. So far, sales have been brisk!

Unfortunately, it is not feasible for me to be able to search for specific items in this collection; there are just too many to go through. I also do not have an accurate list of what is here, so I am going to just focus on getting them listed as quickly as my workload allows.

All sorts of brands are represented: Autocult, Matrix, Neo, GLM, Automodello, Spark, you name it. Most are resin, but some are lower priced diecast like Edicola and Hachette. This collection does not include any white metal as far as I know.

My goal is to list al least a few cars each day, if possible, until the project is complete.

Enjoy!

How do you plan to list these on your website? For example will they be in their own section or just added to the 1/43 scale section?

@ed-davis They will be added to the 1:43 section, but it will be very easy to segregate them if desired. Simply type "aa" into the search box, and it will show you only the items from that collection.
