1910 Daimler (pic)
From Corgi Classics several years ago, here is the 1910 Daimler, with the folks out for a little ride. I have seen this model described as 1:43, but the Daimler was a large automobile. Since the rear passengers are loose, I thought I would see how they looked in a recognized 1:43.
Please remember that the figures were molded for the more upright Daimler seats, but they seem to fit well. Of course they look as if they're being taken to a costume party! I like to have figures in my models. The FM Lincoln's driver is by Arttista. Enjoy.
Hmmm, I wonder what real passengers from 1910 would have thought of the contrast between their Daimler and the Sixties Continental. (by the way, is that a '61, David ?) Fine pictures of the vehicle pair and passenger figures !
Hopefully, by 2010 they wouldn't be forced by bureaucratic mandates to squeeze each of themselves into a sub-sub-compact economy-mobile.
According to FM, it's a 1961.
