Discovered this Amercom Collection plastic body with plastic parts, 1918 Cadillac E57 Victoria coupe in fire chief livery.  Nice inexpensive, but accurate and detailed model from an era that is often not represented.

Good call, John.  I like the older cars and applaud Amercom for this one.  I bought two and turned one into a civilian version.

We think alike,  I'm considering the same conversion.

Go for it, John.  I had some problems with the radiator/ grill, but generally it was a pretty straightforward conversion.  I enjoyed it.  Good luck!  By the way, the bottom of the model nowhere says "Cadillac."  I don't have the box handy.  Probably a copyright situation.
