1930 Cadillac V16 (PICs)

photo no longer available

It has been several years since Franklin Mint produced this 1:43 Cadillac.

Sometimes I get so caught up with the opening features that I neglect to notice what a fine model this is.

Including the V16.

Sometimes it's fun to reach back into the older models. Enjoy!

Not a bad diecast, reminiscent of old Rios. I have one too.

That's one of the best examples of FM in our scale. If they had stayed in that era of automobile we'd have seen a lot of quality. I think it was when they jumped into the fifties collection they lost the quality. There were door, hood, and trunk gaps where we wish they hadn't even attempted opening features, and they lost their customer base on account of it. I signed up for the whole shelf full but never got that Mercury. No sleep lost however. It may have saved me a nightmare or two.

What a beauty! For an FM model the shut lines show excellent fit of opening features.
