In the beginning of 21 century the diecast industry waa very active. Many companies have been producing very highly detailed models by a reasonable price. Today I'd like to remember about Classic Carlectsbles from Australia which made amazing precision models for Ford 100 years anniversary in 2003.
I have only one model in collection, the 1933 Ford V8 Coupe. The miniature is packed in acrylic display, which podium has mirrored surface. This technical decision let to watch high detsiled baseplate where are all parts of transmission (modern resin manufacturers usually make flash baseplate without any details). Windscreen wipers, radiator grill, door knobs are made separatly very accurate. The wheels are vety beautiful. There are also register numbers which add the realism.
The model is completed witb certificate and the brochure of Classic Carlectables collection club.
Beautiful ! That Ford looks great and poses really well on it's base in the photographs.
Looks like a very nice model. Thanks for pictures.

In early- mid 2000s Classic Carlectables has been producing very sophisticated range of classic post- war Australian cars. Among them were 1967 Falcon and Cortina 1 in racing edition.
1934 Ford V8 was represented not only as Coupe but as pick up version. Unfortunately, then Classic Carlectables didn't develop 1/43 range of models.
Does anybody have the mentioned models in collection? Will be great to watch photos.
