Love British sports saloons/saloons from the 30s to 60s. This Riley is a beautiful example I believe from 1953. Just arrived here yesterday, bought from the wonderful Diecast Sisters in Perth.

That looks excellent ! And it is in a really nice color, too. A fine addition to your collection.

A very nice model. Is it a 1950? British cars can be difficult to date.  Also, many thanks for the name of the Drexel Collection sisters.  I had spent ages searching for them and had given up.

nice responses thank you gentlemen. Charles there was nothing on the Matrix outer sleeve to indicate what year. I picked 1953 with a ? going by google images. The Diecast Sisters are great people to deal with. I've lost count of the number of models I've bought from them over the last few weeks. For anyone else, here's their latest ebay listing page:

Thank-you Geoff. I had the good fortune to see it at a show earlier this year. I'd never seen one before and I thought it was magnificent !

A good looking car made even better by a great paint scheme!

I like that the owner of this beautiful Riley chose to chrome plate the headlight housings. He was proud to point that out and I believe it gives the car a rather handsome and distinguished look.

I knew a local car guy who had three Rileys (along with MGs and Morris Minors). This is his Riley Kestrel at a car show in 2002, sitting next to a certain Arnolt-MG coupe.
