Good pictures, David. And that Rextoy is one of my favorite Airflow models. Thanks for posting it.
(later) I looked around for mine, and found this black & white version. It's not marked, so I'm not sure it's a RexToy. It was in a line-up of six Airflows, including BRK and Durham Classics. And this one is missing its front bumper, confound it.
(even later) Found it! Repair made. Nearly impossible to photograph, but I also found that I had inserted an officer under the steering wheel. Hmmmm......
A little research shows me that this Airflow SFPD car was made by Deagostini. I think that company was in Ukraine. I'm checking.
Very interesting. I've not seen one of these before.

First one that I have seen also. Very nice casting. Proportions look very good.. Rextoy also did a good job casting the 1940 Packard.Â
@d-m-holcombe Deagostini is a part works company based in Italy - many of their cars are made by Ixo! Â

Thanks, Karl. Â
Thanks David. I have several RexToy models but not this one. I don't remember ever seeing this but it looks excellent.
@bob-jackman RexToy had a great planned future range shown in their flyer that came with every model but sadly they faded away before that came about. A great range of 1938 Buicks as I recall.
And speaking of Portugal, Vitesse was originally based there as well then later migrated to China.

I have read the Count had Rextoys made by Vitesse, before he switched the last production to France.
Thanks for the info.John and Karl.

Correct Karl Vitesse made Rextoys in Portugal then later Rextoys issues were produced in France. There was an extremely detailed thread in the old Legacy Forums site which covered this.

Just read a 2 part story in Diecast Collector by Mike Pigott; Part 2 was in Mar 2022. I have updated the hobbyDB entry about who made them in France because of this:
