1937 Broadmoor Cadillac Skyview Touring Car
Hi All,
I noticed that Automodello just put out this new model. It's $379.95 on their website for a limited signed edition, but for those who are okay with a little less exclusivity, you can order it from the Hotel Gift Shop for $120.

It looks very nice from the small photos that they show.
Happy Collecting!
Alfred
What scale?
The hotel website doesn't state what it is either.
What a nice surprise! Thanks for sharing info.
It's 1/43. I did the photography for it.
If you want, I can post larger photos here over the weekend.
Hey Rich, I would love to see larger photos!
Thanks in advance for sharing.
Cheers!
Alfred
OK. I'll upload them to a host and post them hopefully tonight.
This could be a great precedence. The Broadmoor used many Cadillacs over the years.
So much for supporting Automodello. I think this post is inappropriate.
The hotel commissioned this model....
it's not for general distribution. I don't understand what's inappropriate about Alfred's post.
Is there a need for a consensus or a moderator's decision?
I don't want to post any pictures if I'm just going to be scolded.
Until now, I knew nothing about the Broadmoor Hotel and its models. Alfred's posting compelled me to look into this model. Apparently, from reading Broadmoor's blog, it has been newly restored. Broadmoor also used a '55 and '59 Cadillac wagon which one can see by Googling "Broadmoor Hotel Cadillacs" and is restoring a '36 sedan.
At $120, the replica of the '37 seems pretty nice, particularly because it is a fine Automodello product.
I don't understand the gist of our esteemed Cadillac expert, Lloyd's post - maybe I am being thick here - my apologies if I am offending anyone. I would be happy to see photos of this model and I won't be one to pillory Rich for taking the chance.
I don't have a problem either. F43 is always full of interesting new and old stuff.
I won't be buying the model but I'm still interested in seeing it and furthering my knowledge.
